Mark is an associate at Prowse Barrette LLP. His practice includes corporate and commercial, expropriation, property rights, municipal, environmental, and regulatory matters. He also assists with family law matters involving child welfare.
Before joining the firm, Mark completed his articles at a government agency and a large regional law firm. His pre-legal career experience spans the federal government, Indigenous governance, and the energy sector. He has worked with elected officials, prepared policies, managed issues, and built stakeholder relationships.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies from the University of Alberta (2019), along with certificates in Indigenous Governance & Partnership and Indigenous Sport & Recreation, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan (2024).
Mark is a practicing member of the Law Society of Alberta (2026) and the Law Society of Saskatchewan (2025). Mark also holds membership with the Canadian Bar Association and Indigenous Bar Association. He is a descendant of the Red River Métis and a proud citizen of the Métis Nation. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends, who live all over the world. When he is not, he enjoys watching his favourite sports teams or collecting old-school video games, LP records, and cassette tapes.
