Kate Pearce

Kate is a barrister and solicitor primarily practicing in general civil litigation. Kate obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Simon Fraser University, followed by her Masters of Management from the University of British Columbia and her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. She is committed to serving her clients with both empathy and pragmatism and to providing professional advocacy while ensuring a full understanding of the legal process. Kate has extensive civil Chambers experience and has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.

Prior to entering the field of law, Kate was a high-level athlete who completed her undergraduate degree on a varsity basketball scholarship, winning three national championships in the process. Kate was also a member of Canada Basketball’s U14, U17. U18, U19, and FISU Games teams, and she represented Team Canada at the Tournament of the Americas in Mexico City and the Universiade Games in Bangkok.
